Although for many years he worked only as a space artist, in 1970 - just as fiction became fact and men walked on the Moon - Hardy started producing SF covers (in SF circles 'Sci-Fi' is used only for media such as movies and TV-though Hardy has worked on both, and enjoys many of them!).
