Since Hardy now works largely digitally, the Originals currently displayed on this site may well become the last to be available 'off the peg'!

However, all is not lost: David is always interested to know what buyers of astronomical and SF art are looking for, and willing to consider commissions of any size (including miniatures; see also Ties etc. in Merchandise).

Prices can therefore range from under £100 to thousands, depending upon content, medium and size.  A recent example is shown below, but the universe is big (very big!) and the subjects for art, whether astronomical, SF or other, can be literally infinite. . .

Terminus, from Foundation.
A recent commission (October 2012): a 90cm wide painting in acrylics on stretched canvas. The brief: "A scene on the planet Terminus from Isaac Asimov's Foundation. 3 men sit on a balcony, drinking; one smokes a cigar." We see only the glasses, but the smoke from the cigar merges with the 'misty lens of the Galaxy'. . . (Private collection of N. Wallace) Also available as a print.
